Are lovebirds more work to raise than budgerigars (parakeet)?
I'm considering getting a single lovebird as a pet. I've only had a budgerigar once before. From what I read, it seems lovebirds might be more high maintenance. They seem noisier, potentially more destructive (need more toys), and maybe need more interaction.
Does anyone know if and how they differ?
I'm mostly concerned about noise levels, since I never had much of a noise problem with my parakeet.
